Cheltenham races flutter leaves Folkestone's Church Street Project as a winner

I was delighted to accept the invitation to visit Ladbrokes in Rendezvous Street in Folkestone to receive a charity bet to use in the Cheltenham Festival this week, with the winnings going to a local charity. I decided to use this to support the Church Street Project, which works with children across Shepway.

Shane Record, the local artist, who is also one of the leading fundraisers for the Project joined me at Ladbrokes to receive the bet.

I decided to back a horse called Dunguib, which was running in the first race at Cheltenham yesterday.

It came third, which means that the Project will £50, equivalent to the value of the stake.
