Conservative Creative Network website launched

CACIN is the 'Conservative Arts and Creative Industries Network', which I helped to launch in May 2009 and I am also its Chairman. The Network holds regular networking events for people who work right across the creative industries, along with MPs, Ministers and policy advisors who have a strong interest in this area.

This evening as part of the Conservative Party conference we have an event at Quay House in Manchester focusing on the creative industries in the North West. The guest speakers are the Creative Industries Minister, Ed Vaizey MP and Sue Woodward OBE, the Director of The Sharp Project in Manchester. We will also be launching our new website at this event, which can be found at;

www.cacin.co.uk

Since our first event at M&C Saatchi in 2009 we've welcomed people from all areas and levels of the network to our events for an informal opportunity to policy makers and colleagues in the sector and discuss current issues.

The new website will have information on forthcoming events, as well providing a forum for other relevant news from the sector. If there is something going on in your organisation, perhaps a publication, event, new show or release, that you would like to share with the network, please get in touch by email to damian@damiancollins.com or through the CACIN website.
