While driving around the Marsh for my advice surgeries last Friday I was able, not for the first time, to admire the many properties flying Romney Marsh's new iconic flag. It was to my delight therefore that I was greeted at my New Romney surgery by Briony Kapoor, whose IMOS Foundation is behind the superb murals in New Romney , amongst other creative initiatives, who presented me with my very own flag. As delighted as I am - and what a fantastic design - it does pose the awkward question of whether to hang it in my parliamentary or constituency office.... I think I may need to purchase another one before long - and good news: after the first 300 flew off the shelf, another 300 flags have now been ordered. This is fantastic for the Marsh, and for any residents who might yet to have got their hands on a flag of their own.
